IBEI - Teaching fellow in research methods

TEACHING FELLOW IN RESEARCH METHODS
 
The Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) invites applications for a full-time Teaching Fellow position in the area of research methods and statistics for international studies. 
 
This is a one-year position, with a possibility of extension for two additional years, and the successful candidate is expected to start in September/October 2020. The expected gross annual salary is 30.000€. We are looking for academics with a relevant Ph.D. degree, and experience of teaching and assessing at University level with positive student feedback received.
 
The main focus of activity will be with the Research Master's in International Studies, but the successful applicant would be expected to contribute as well to the other Master's programmes at IBEI, through teaching and supervising students. Experience in teaching quantitative methods and statistical packages (including R) is required, but also the capacity to teach qualitative methods will be highly appreciated. The ability to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and  assessment of learning, including the design and creation of successful learning environments, will be particularly relevant.
