New Developments in Survey Methodology" Course and Seminar Series

The Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM) presents its “New Developments in Survey Methodology” Course +Seminar Series

which will be held throughout the 2010-2011 academic year at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. The series will bring together some of the foremost European experts in current survey methodology issues and is addressed to intermediate and advanced students from the academic, governmental and commercial sectors.

The series consists of three sessions, each one comprising a two-day course and a seminar. All seminars will be free of charge and will not require any prior registration: anyone interested in the topics covered is welcome to attend. The courses will be taught by top professors in each area of specialty. For reasons of space and logistics, the courses will require prior registration and payment of

a small fee.

The three planned sessions for the 2010-2011 academic year are the following:

SESSION 1: Attitude measurement (October 27-29, 2010)

SESSION 2: Comparative research (February, 2011 - exact dates to be announced)

SESSION 3: Sampling and nonresponse (May, 2011 - exact dates to be announced)
